Bomb Threat On TikTok Directed At Charles Boehm Middle School: SD

The school district is investigating the video, where an anonymous poster said they would "bomb the school on April 10th."

YARDLEY, PA — Officials from Pennsbury School District and local law enforcement are currently investigating a threat made to Charles Boehm Middle School through the popular social media app TikTok.

The TikTok was posted on “Charles Bohem (sic) Confessions” and features an anonymous poster stating that they would “bomb the school on April 10th.”

Police are currently investigating the post in an attempt to find the poster. If found, this individual could face charges of making terroristic threats.

"Unfortunately, TikTok and Instagram posts related to students and our middle schools are having a negative impact on our school culture taking valuable resources to investigate," the school district said in a statement. "Please support our efforts by addressing the use of social media with your children. Please refer to our recent district parent presentation available here."

As a result of the post, the school district has requested a police presence in and around the building during student arrival on the days prior to and after Sunday, April 10.

The statement from the school district says that they are not currently considering this to be a credible threat.

"We would also like to thank the students who brought their concerns to the administration. Actions like theirs will ensure that our schools remain safe."
