Bucks 'Beauty And History' on Display In Yardley

YARDLEY, PA —Bucks County offers breathtaking landscapes and scenes that will be on display in a photographic tour Wednesday.

“Bucks County’s Beauty and History,” a photographic tour by Josh Friedman, will be presented at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Old Library by Lake Afton, 46 West Afton Ave. The program is hosted by the Yardley Historical Association.

"The sights of Bucks County are always exceptional, but a photographer can often bring out their very best by catching scenes at the perfect moments, as well as creatively enhancing them using today’s digital darkroom," the association stated in a press release.

Friedman has been shooting photos since he was a boy. His images are in homes and offices around the world, said Susan Taylor of the historical association.

During his photographic tour, Friedman will present scenes that he has taken in Yardley and throughout Bucks County. They reflect the area’s natural beauty, rich history, and his interest in landscapes and architecture. He will also explain his inspiration and techniques.

The Yardley Historical Association preserves, maintains, and shares the Old Library by Lake Afton and its collections of books, documents, and ephemera related to Yardley’s history. The community is welcome to come to explore, discover, and have fun.
