Patterson Farm Preservation announces historic Satterthwaite House will be illuminated by candlelight this holiday season for a worthy cause. Your participation is invited. Community members are invited to sponsor the lighting of a candle in a window of Lower Makefield's historic landmark farmhouse on Patterson Farm. All funds raised will support the mission of the Food Center at the Morrisville Presbyterian Church which distributes food to neighbors experiencing food insufficiency and is staffed by volunteers. A $30 donation provides one bag of food to a recipient. Donations of any amount to Candles of Hope can be made here and are tax-deductible.

Community members can drive-by and enjoy seeing Satterthwaite House, located on Mirror Lake Road in Yardley, beautifully illuminated with candlelight each evening from now through the holidays while knowing your generosity is a blessing to neighbors. The window candles are symbols of hope and will be a testimony to the positive impact made possible when community members work together. Candles of Hope is a collaborative effort between Patterson Farm Preservation, Inc., Lower Makefield Township and the Food Center.

The volunteers of Patterson Farm Preservation wish everyone a happy and healthy holiday season.
