Firefighters Knock Down Rooftop Fire At Vacant Morrisville School
The Morrisville Fire Company reported smoke showing from the roof of the former Manor Park Elementary School.

MORRISVILLE BOROUGH, PA — Firefighters from at least four companies responded to a fire Monday morning at a vacant elementary school building in Morrisville Borough.
Firefighters were dispatched at 11 a.m. Monday morning for the report of a fire at Pennsylvania Avenue and Cleveland Avenue in the Manor Park section of town.
The Morrisville Fire Company, the first on the scene, reported smoke showing from the roof of the former Manor Park Elementary School.

Firefighters from Yardley-Makefield, Falls Township and Levittown assisted Morrisville Fire Company with interior and rooftop operations.

Firefighters extinguished the fire before it had a chance to spread through the building. The cause is under investigation by Morrisville Borough fire officials.
