Free trees for Yardley Borough residents!
The Yardley Borough Shade Tree Commission and Yardley Tree Tenders is proud to once again offer free trees to Yardley Borough residents.
If you are interested in getting a tree for your property, please send an email to Derek Bilcik at dsbilcik@yahoo.com. The trees will be planted by the Yardley Tree Tenders November 15-16. Supply is limited so priority will be given to public spaces and private properties that have not received a tree previously. Additionally, the suitability of the location for the trees available will be taken into consideration.
Trees available this year include (subject to change):
CERCIS CANADENSIS; Eastern Redbud, estimated mature size 25 feet tall by 30 feet wide

CORNUS CONTROVERSA 'JUNE SNOW'; Giant Dogwood, estimated mature size 30 feet tall by 40 feet wide
ACER RUBRUM 'REDPOINTE'; Red Maple, estimated mature size 45 feet tall by 35 feet wide

QUERCUS BICOLOR; Swamp White Oak, estimated mature size 60 feet tall by 40 feet wide
TILIA AMER. 'FRONTYARD'; American Linden, estimated mature size 60 feet tall by 40 feet wide
