What are the Pool’s COVID-19 protocols and requirements?
Vaccinations will not be required for attendees.
Attendees will not mask while swimming. Attendees are asked to wear masks when in the bathroom facilities, standing in line, approaching staff, ordering from the snack stand, and entering and exiting. Staff will wear masks while speaking with attendees, working indoors, or working nearby others. Swim instructors will wear face shields while teaching.
The facility will be closed between 3 p.m. and 4 p.m. each day for cleaning. Staff are also being prepped with extra PPE and additional training on cleaning protocols.
Pool staff ask that attendees: Stay home if you’re sick. Do not move pool chairs out of their already designated zones, and do wipe them down before and after use. Be mindful of people’s space, especially when waiting in lines. Be respectful of others’ concerns around COVID-19.
An occupancy status counter on the Pool website will monitor capacity live. Staff will make every effort to notify the public well in advance of any policy changes.
When is the Pool open, and is registration/reservation required?
Reservations are not required to use pool facilities, with the exception of the lap lanes. Members can call 215-493-3020 to reserve times for lap swimming, water walking, and long course swim.
