Fundraiser To Be Held For Late Bensalem Deputy Director's Family
Deputy Director Dave Richardson, who passed away from cancer last month, served the Bensalem Township Police Department for over 24 years.
BENSALEM, PA — A fundraiser for the family of the Bensalem Township Police Department's recently deceased Deputy Director will be held on July 17.
The 'Rally Around The Richardson' fundraiser will be held at the Parx Casino Beer Garden, with all proceeds benefiting the family of Dave Richardson, who passed away from pancreatic cancer in May. He was survived by his wife, Johanna, and his two daughters, Bailey and Ella.
Richardson had served the Bensalem community for over 24 years in the police department. He was promoted to the rank of Deputy Director back in January.

Tickets for the event will be $50 and can be purchased here. The event will be held at the casino's beer garden, located at 2999 Street Road, from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. Donations can be made here for those who cannot attend the event.
"Dave’s resilience and love for his family, friends, and the police department will always be remembered," event organizers said online.
