YARDLEY, PA — The owners of a dog that went missing last week in Yardley are asking for the public's help bringing the good boy home.

Jax, an 8-month-old German Shepherd/lab mix, went missing on Thursday, Oct. 29, near the Delaware Canal in the area of the entrance to the canal on Black Rock Road. He's from Barrington, N.J., and got away from his dog sitters who live in the area.

Jax was wearing a red and gray collar and is micro-chipped, according to his owners, who have created a Facebook page to help with the search. They say he is a nice dog, but can be afraid of strangers.
