Learn How To Help Lower Makefield Protect Its Historic Buildings
Lower Makefield Township is collecting data on its 18th- and 19th-century buildings to determine the integrity of the structures.

LOWER MAKEFIELD TOWNSHIP, PA — History is always showcased in the township.
With Patterson Farm a main feature for preservation efforts, he township is conducting a historic resource survey to ensure that other properties are given a look as well.
Jeff Marshall from Open Spaces & Historic Places has been driving around town taking photos of many of the township's 18th- and 19th-century buildings for Lower Makefield's Historic Resource Survey Project.

The report, when complete, will include an assessment of the significance and integrity of the structures to help the township preserve its history.

Township officials are asking if anyone has any historic photos, maps, knowledge, or stories about their property to share with them.
