Patch: Tell us a bit about your business or organization:
Daniel Cruz: Skip's Wrightstown LLC is a takeout restaurant in Wrightstown PA serving made-to-order fried chicken sandwiches, tender, fries and loaded fries. Skip's strives to deliver the best flavor and quality. We also offer gluten free options for everything on our menu. Skip's Wrightstown is owned by brothers Dan and Jeremy Cruz and their wives Julie and Bozena.

Patch: How long have you been doing business in town?
Daniel Cruz: Skip's Wrightstown is brand new to our community as of August 2024. Though our products were created in 2020 by Skip's Food Truck in Lancaster County.
Patch: What attracted you to the line of work you’re in, and how did you get started?
Daniel Cruz: Living in the area, we wanted to see the former Wrightstown country store building come alive again. In 2023, we met Skip's food truck and tasted the best chicken sandwich we ever ate. At that point we wanted to figure how we could get that product closer to home and share that experience with our community. With the former country store in mind we set out to make it happen. Through great timing (and perhaps divine intervention) Skip's Wrightstown was born in the exact location we planned. As a close family we understand the impact sharing a meal can have, especially delicious comfort food.

Patch: What's the most common piece of advice you give to customers?
Daniel Cruz: Try it as is... We brought these recipes from Skip's food truck in Lancaster County because of the intense flavor profiles. Try it as the original recipe, then come back for more!
Patch: What’s the most satisfying part of your job?
Daniel Cruz: The customers for sure! I (Dan) love talking about food and community. I have been passionate about food since I was a youngster. Sharing that with the customers is really a joy to me.
Patch: How would you say your business or organization distinguishes itself from the others?
Daniel Cruz: Our food is made to order and has a fantastic flavor profile. We are always looking to improve our processes and service too.
