Lower Makefield Offers 'Camp In A Bag'

With coronavirus ruining some summer plans, the township is offering weekly kids' activity supplies.

LOWER MAKEFIELD TOWNSHIP, PA — With coronavirus doing a number on kid and family plans for this summer, Lower Makefield Township is offering some help via Camp in a Bag.

The program began on July 6 and runs through Aug. 28.

For $25 a week, parents can pick up some "summer fun in a bag" every Monday, from 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. at LMT's parks and recreation building.

The first bag will be a drawstring bag with startup supplies and each week's bag will include crafts, activities, prizes and more. The program is for kids ages 6-12.
