Lower Makefield Police Seek Credit Card Thief

The man spend nearly $5,000 on expensive sound equipment and other items with the stolen card, police said.

LOWER MAKEFIELD TOWNSHIP, PA — Police in Lower Makefield Township are looking for a man they say racked up nearly $5,000 worth of purchases after stealing a resident's credit card .

They shared photos and video Thursday of a man shopping while wearing a black North Face jacket. He was possibly driving a gray SUV, police said.

According to police, the man used the victim's credit card to make purchases totaling $4,887.60 between Dec. 27-29. The purchases included a Bose Acoustimass 10 series home theater sound system and a Samsung Q900 T Sound Bar, police said.

The surveillance footage of him was taken at the Best Buy at Whitman Square Shopping Center on Roosevelt Boulevard in Philadelphia, according to police.
