Man Arrested Twice In One Day For Disorderly Conduct: Police Log

LOWER MAKEFIELD TOWNSHIP, PA — The Lower Makefield Township Police Department reported several crimes that occurred in the area between Friday, March 18, and Wednesday, March 23.

Friday, March 18

- A case of disorderly conduct was reported from the 1600 block of Big Oak Road at Carlucci’s Grill at 4:17 p.m. An employee reported a man causing a disturbance and throwing items all over the ground. The 41-year-old local was cited for disorderly conduct. Police later received a call from Shop Rite, where the same man was causing a disturbance at the location and throwing items on the ground. He was cited again for disorderly conduct.
- A 62-year-old local man was arrested at the Shop Rite located on the 1600 block of Big Oak Road for taking $18.06 worth of cat food without paying. The man was also seen on surveillance footage removing $50.05 worth of merchandise without paying once in February and two other times in March.
Sunday, March 20
- A 23-year-old Philadelphia man was arrested for DUI, possession of crack cocaine possession of drug paraphernalia, and related charges on Covington Road & Cedar Hollow Drive at 4:16 a.m. The man was found at the sight of a one-car accident, where police determined her was impaired; they also found a large amount of crack cocaine in the car. He was arraigned and sent to Bucks County Prison in lieu of 10% of $70,000.
- A case of criminal mischief was reported from the 200 block of Yellow Springs Court at 12:40 p.m. The complainant reported an unknown person puncturing two tires and keying their vehicle.
- A 34-year-old Waynesboro man was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia and disorderly conduct on Township Line Road & Cornerstone Drive at 3:34 p.m. Police initially responded to the report of two men engaged in a confrontation, which led to the discovery of drug paraphernalia.
Monday, March 21

- A case of fraud was reported from the unit block of West Manor Lane at 11:00 a.m. The complainant reported being altered to an unauthorized hard credit inquiry by an unknown person.
- A case of theft was reported from the 500 block of South Dove Road at 12:14 p.m. The complainant reported the theft of a PlayStation 5 gaming console from their living room.
- Another case of retail theft was reported from the Shop Rite on the 1600 block of Big Oak Road at 5:39 p.m. The store's Loss Prevention reported the theft of diapers valued at $31.99 by an unknown woman, who later fled in a Ford sedan. A further investigation led to the identity of the 25-year-old Morrisville woman who admitted to stealing the diapers for a friend even though she had the money to pay for them. Charges have been filed.
Wednesday, March 23
- A DUI arrest was made at Schuyler Road & Edgewood Road at 11:37 a.m. A 47-year-old Yardley Borough woman was arrested for Driving Under the Influence.
- A case of theft was reported from the 1800 block of Yardley Road at 1:27 p.m. The complainant reported the theft of Air pods, sunglasses, tap shoes, and a checkbook from their vehicle.
- A case of fraud was reported from the 200 block of Rock Run Road at 4:48 p.m. The complainant reported receiving a text from someone they believed to be a coworker who asked them to purchase two $500 gift cards. Card information was given to an unknown person.
