Moonshine, Meth In Driver's Energy Drink: Lower Makefield PD

Lower Makefield Police made a traffic stop on Dolington Road Tuesday and found several drugs in making a DUI arrest.

LOWER MAKEFIELD TOWNSHIP, PA — When Lower Makefield Police charged a driver on Tuesday night with DUI, they were told about what was in the man's energy drink.

Lower Makefield Police stopped a car for violations at 8:46 p.m. Tuesday on Creamery and Dolington roads.

Police found needles, anabolic steroids, unidentified white and green pills, and marijuana in the car.

The driver also admitted to drinking moonshine and putting methamphetamines in his energy drink, police said.

The 48-year-old Philadelphia man was taken into custody. He was charged with DUI, Possession of Marijuana, Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and related charges.
