Morrisville Plans Memorial Day Parade

MORRISVILLE, PA —It's less than three weeks away.

With Memorial Day kicking off the unofficial start of summer, the borough will celebrate the holiday with a parade on May 27.

The Morrisville Fire Company's parade launches from the Morrisville Presbyterian Church at 771 N. Pennsylvania Ave. The parade will begin promptly at 9 a.m.

The staging area will be located in the church's rear parking lot adjacent to West Trenton Avenue. Organizers ask that all participants should be in the staging area by 8:15 a.m.

The parade will conclude at the Morrisville Cemetery with a brief ceremony to honor all those who have made the ultimate sacrifice in service to the nation.

The parade route is as follows:

• Right onto North Pennsylvania Avenue (from the church's driveway)
• Right onto Hillcrest Avenue
• Left onto North Lafayette Avenue
• Left onto West Bridge Street
• Right onto South Washington Street
• Right onto Delaware Avenue
• Left onto South Pennsylvania Avenue
• Concludes at South Pennsylvania Avenue and Anderson Avenue (Morrisville Cemetery)
