The Morrisville School District is seeking a replacement for Sean Haines, who took a position with the Neshaminy School District.
MORRISVILLE, PA —The Morrisville Borough School District is seeking its next leader. And anyone interested in the post has a little more than a week to apply.
The school district is now accepting applications for its next schools superintendent to replace Sean Haines, who began his tenure with the Neshaminy School District this week.
The Morrisville Borough School Board recently solicited feedback from borough residents regarding what might make the ideal candidate for the next superintendent.

The job description for the position states that the superintendent will ensure access, resources, and opportunities to meet the needs of all the district’s learners while supporting the growth and development of students and staff.
In their first year, the new superintendent will need to focus on the budget, curriculum, and education planning, employee relations, community relations, special education, and advocacy with local, state, and federal officials.

No salary was provided but the district said that a regionally competitive salary and benefits package would be offered to the successful candidate.
Applications are due by 11:59 p.m. on March 3.
Haines is becoming Neshaminy's new assistant to the superintendent and director of educational operations. He joined the district on Thursday.
Haines served as Morrisville's schools superintendent since 2021.
He started teaching in Morrisville in 2004, served as Dean of Students in 2017, and was the school district’s middle and senior high school principal since 2017.
