LOWER MAKEFIELD TOWNSHIP, PA — The Lower Makefield Township Police Department reported several crimes that occurred in the area between Thursday, Feb. 17, and Tuesday, Feb. 22.

Thursday, Feb. 17

  • A case of identity theft was reported on the 1200 block of Madison Drive at 12:17 p.m. The complainant reported receiving emails confirming attempts to open checking/savings accounts in their name.
  • A drug arrest was reported on the 500 block of West Trenton Avenue at 2:59 p.m. After police stopped a vehicle for violations, a further investigation led to the discovery of 44 grams of marijuana. The 21-year-old male driver from Trenton, NJ is to be summoned for Possession of Marijuana.

Friday, Feb. 18

  • A theft was reported on the unit block of Fayette Drive at 2:58 p.m. The complainant reported unauthorized use of a credit card in the amount of $243.58.

  • A case of identity theft was reported on the 200 block of Flint Court at 9:06 a.m. The complainant reported an unknown person, or possibly multiple people, opening a PECO account in their name.

Tuesday, Feb. 22

  • A case of fraud was reported on the 100 block of Barbara Drive at 4:30 p.m. The complainant reported providing their banking information after their computer froze and received a pop-up notification telling them to call Microsoft.
