YARDLEY, PA — Patios and sidewalks make great dining spaces and the weather is bound to begin cooperating soon. Here are some Yardley area places that offer outdoor dining.

Yardley Inn Restaurant & Bar — It might be your happy place as weather warms and the patio opens for outdoor seating at Yardley Inn at 82 E. Afton Ave. in Yardley. There are special menus for Easter and Passover, and contemporary American cuisine items are made from fresh local ingredients. Wednesday is Beer & Burger night. What's not to like here?

Erini Restaurant — If you're in the mood to cross the Delaware, Ewing is waiting with great dining spots like Erini Restaurant at 1140 River Road (Rt. 29). The patio dining space is cheerful and ready for spring. Erini is taking reservations for Easter Brunch now.

Trattoria Rosa Bianca — This dining experience in a historic Bucks County Victorian mansion is a popular pursuit. Porch seating just adds to it all. Sunday brunch happens weekly and the specials are fresh and surprising at Trattoria Rosa Bianca.

Washington Crossing Inn — It's not most famous for its outdoor dining, but it does have it, in the Secret Garden. Four miles from Yardley you'll find the historic Washington Crossing Inn at 1295 General Washington Memorial Blvd., in Washington Crossing, Pennsylvania. Do we need to mention it's on the Delaware River? There's an Easter Buffet coming up.

Continental Tavern — Yardley's Continental Tavern, 2 N. Main St., is a lively local spot with outdoor seating, and live music, and it's counted as a kid-friendly establishment. The Continental Tavern serves "old fashioned American tavern fare with a curiously modern accent."
