PA Driver's License Expirations Delayed Again
Due to the coronavirus outbreak, driver's license and state ID card holders now have some extra time to renew them.
HARRISBURG, PA — The expiration date for Pennsylvania driver's licenses, ID cards and learner's permits will be extended through August, PennDOT announced on Friday.
Due to the coronavirus outbreak, cards that were set to expire any time after March 16 are now good through Aug. 31, PennDOT said. The extensions are in addition to those announced on June 25.
Currently, the department said, limited services are available at some Pennsylvania driver's license and photo license centers. For a list of those that are open and the services provided, you may visit the state Department of Motor Vehicles website.

Pennsylvania has delayed the deadline for renewing driver's licenses and other registrations several times since the beginning of coronavirus efforts in March.
Pennsylvania residents may continue to access some servives online at the DMV site. They include driver's license, photo ID and vehicle registration renewals, driver-history services, changes of address and scheduling a driver's exam.
