LOWER MAKEFIELD TOWNSHIP, PA —It will be night and day for PECO's natural gasline project.

Weeknight lane closures for PECO's natural gasline project will be finishing this week, township officials said.

The lane closures from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. have been ongoing on Route 332 at Lindenhurst Road near Newtown Township since the project started last month.

For a four-week window, Lindenhurst Road will close completely.

Additional details about the closure will be communicated in advance.

PECO work crews are installing nearly 9,000 feet of steel natural gas main along the roadway to upgrade its natural gas distribution system for customers in Lower Makefield and Newtown townships.

PECO said construction will begin at the Newtown Bypass and will require lane closures or a detour for the entirety of the project.
