PHILADELPHIA, PA — The long orange line will again march through the City of Brotherly Love on Thanksgiving morning.

Pennsbury High School's award-winning marching is set to appear on Thursday in the Philadelphia 6ABC Dunkin Thanksgiving Day Parade, the oldest Thanksgiving Day Parade in America.

Under the direction of Dr. Tina DiMeglio, the 112-student band will be marching 1.4 miles through the streets of the city along with seven other high school marching bands from across the country.

This will be the band's second appearance in a city parade in two months. In October, the band participated in a parade down Market Street celebrating the 250th anniversaries of the U.S. Navy and the U.S. Marine Corps.

The marchers will be stepping off at 20th Street and John F. Kennedy Boulevard. They will then head east on JFK to 16th Street and then north on 16th to the Benjamin Franklin Parkway. Marchers will turn left on the Parkway to the steps of the Philadelphia Museum of Art.

The parade will be broadcast live on 6abc starting at 8:30 a.m. with a pre-parade special. Those not in the Action News broadcasting area can watch on Hulu and ABCNewsLive. 6ABC's Adam Joseph, Rick Williams, Cecily Tynan, Alicia Vitarelli, and Karen Rogers will once again serve as the parade hosts

Special guests this year include the cast of "Abbott Elementary," "Jeopardy!" host Ken Jennings, Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos, "Good Morning America" weathercaster Sam Champion, Carson Kressley of "Queer Eye for the Straight Guy" and "Dancing with the Stars," Ryan Seacrest, Vanna White, and three-time Super Bowl Champion Troy Aikman; sports announcer Joe Buck, Maxwell Simkins from "Shifting Gears," Walt Disney World Ambassador Serena Arvizu, as well as Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse and their friends.

Asher HaVon, Bianca Ryan, Cameo, David Archuleta, Deejay Young, Four Tops, Gabby Samone “American Idol," Jordin Sparks, Quad City DJ’s, and Sarah Potenza will all perform at the parade, as well.

First held in 1920, the parade was created by Gimbel Brothers Department Store for the children and residents of Philadelphia. After Gimbel's closed in 1986, WPVI-TV/6abc stepped in to continue the holiday tradition that signifies the official arrival of Santa Claus in the "City of Brotherly Love."

Make sure your TV is tuned to 6ABC Thursday beginning at 8:30 a.m. to catch the Pennsbury High School marching band among all your favorite floats, performances, and balloons.
