Pipe Replacement Project Begins Along River Road

LOWER MAKEFIELD TOWNSHIP, PA —Pipe replacement will take place around River Road in nearby Upper Makefield Township starting Tuesday, PennDOT said.
The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that pipe replacement and base repair are scheduled on several state highways in Bucks and Delaware counties.

- Tuesday, Aug. 6, and Wednesday, Aug. 7, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Eagle Road/Stoneybrook Road will be closed between Route 32 (River Road) and Pineville Road in Upper Makefield Township for pipe replacement.
During the closure, motorists will be directed to use Route 32 (River Road), Route 232 (Windy Bush Road), and Pineville Road.
Local access will be maintained. Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work areas because backups and delays will occur.
