Resurfacing To Last In Mid-October In 2 Lower Bucks Communities
PennDOT said a project starts Monday. Find out where and when below.

LOWER BUCKS COUNTY, PA —Resurfacing is planned in two Lower Bucks County communities this week, PennDOT said.
The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation said that resurfacing is planned under multiple ongoing projects to repair and pave more than 200 miles of state highway across the Philadelphia region.

- Monday through mid-October, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., a weekday lane closure is scheduled on Big Oak Road between West Trenton Avenue and Pine Grove Road in Lower Makefield and Falls townships for high friction surface treatment.
Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because backups and delays will occur.
All scheduled activities are weather-dependent.

Under these resurfacing and improvement projects, PennDOT’s contractors are repairing, milling, and repaving state highways with new asphalt pavement that will seal roadways and provide motorists with a safer and smoother riding surface.
