River Road Closures Planned In Lower Makefield Twp.

LOWER MAKEFIELD TOWNSHIP, PA —Two road projects are planned on River Road during the next month, with the first one starting on Monday.

The Pennsylvania Department of Public Transportation said a section of Route 32 (River Road) will be closed on weekdays.

  • Monday, Sept. 30, through Tuesday, Oct. 8, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., Route 32 (River Road) will be closed on weekdays between Taylorsville Road and Woodside Road in Upper Makefield and Lower Makefield townships, for paving. During the closure, motorists are directed to use Taylorsville Road and Woodside Road.
  • Wednesday, Oct. 9, through Monday, Oct. 14, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., Route 32 (River Road) will be closed on weekdays between Woodside Road and Route 332 (Afton Avenue) in Lower Makefield Township and Yardley Borough for paving. During the closure, motorists are directed to use Woodside Road, Taylorsville Road, and Route 332 (Afton Road).
