River Road Resurfacing Underway For Next Few Weeks

LOWER BUCKS COUNTY, PA — Sections of River Road are closed for the next few weeks as PennDOT conducts improvements.

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation said that pavement repair and resurfacing operations started Monday on Route 32 (River Road) in New Hope Borough, Solebury, and Upper Makefield townships.

The roadwork will impact drivers in Yardley and Lower Makefield Township who often use the road.

The work is part of PennDOT’s $5 million project to perform selective base repairs and micro-surfacing overlay and install line/legend painting on sections of Route 32 (River Road/Delaware Avenue), U.S. 13 (Bristol Pike), and Knights Road in Bucks County.
