Schools Superintendent Search Underway In Morrisville

Morrisville Schools Superintendent Sean Haines departs next week for a position with the Neshaminy School District.

MORRISVILLE, PA —As Sean Haines departs next week to join the Neshaminy School District, the Morrisville Borough School Board has enlisted the public in making the district's next superintendent hiring.

The Morrisville Borough School Board solicited feedback from borough residents regarding what might make the ideal candidate.

The school board recently wrapped up a survey that went out to residents in which the district gathered information on the traits, characteristics, and priorities stakeholders are seeking in their next superintendent.

All Morrisville Borough community members, students, and district employees were asked to take the survey and offer feedback.

Haines will become Neshaminy's new assistant to the superintendent and director of educational operations. He is expected to join that school district on Feb. 22.

Haines replaces Paul Meehan, who retired on Dec. 8 after eight years with Neshaminy.

Haines has served as Morrisville's schools superintendent since 2021.

He started teaching in Morrisville in 2004, served as Dean of Students in 2017, and was the school district’s middle and senior high school principal since 2017.
