YARDLEY, PA —After less than two years of operation, SoBol Yardley has shut its doors.

Owner Todd Stecker announced the closure on Monday, ending the business known for its smoothies and fruit bowls.

"I regret to inform you that SoBol Yardley has closed its operations," Stecker said. "It has been an amazing few years, and we have loved being a part of the growth story here in Yardley. However, we felt the store would best serve the community under someone else’s direction."

Stecker had announced in January that he was seeking a working partner (operating partner) for his franchise store that operated at 25 S. Main St.

He said that SoBol Yardley was a 1-year-old smoothie and acai bowl store that sells a premium product in a 1,000-square-foot space.

Stecker was seeking a $50,000 investment for 25 percent equity and profit sharing.
