LOWER MAKEFIELD TOWNSHIP, PA —A gift card scam and stolen music video props were among the criminal incidents the Lower Makefield Township Police Department released in its blotter for the past week.

THEFT — 1700 block of Mulberry Way, reported at 7 p.m. The complainant reported falling to a gift card scam and sending $1,500 to an unknown person(s).

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF — 200 block of Cinnabar Lane, reported at 9:29 p.m. The complainant reported that an unknown person kicked in their front door, causing damage. The incident was captured on video surveillance. An investigation is ongoing.

THEFTS:
- 800 block of Big Oak Road at Charles Boehm Middle School, reported at 7:58 a.m. The complainant reported an unknown person(s) stole their child’s Trek bicycle. The incident was captured on video surveillance. An investigation is ongoing.
- 1400 block of Oxford Valley Road at Yardley Rehabilitation and Healthcare, reported at 3:42 p.m. The complainant reported giving their father two blank checks. The checks are now missing, and $4,000 has been withdrawn from the account.
- 900 block of Sandy Run Road, reported at 5:56 p.m. The complainant reported the theft of several music video props.
FRAUD — Unit block of Sutphin Pines, reported at 11:54 a.m. The complainant reported being contacted by an unknown person(s) stating they accidentally deposited money into their account and requested it to be returned. The complainant contacted their broker and was advised this was a scam.

IDENTITY THEFT:
- 500 block of Gordon Drive, reported at 12:25 p.m. The complainant reported that an unknown person(s) hacked into their social media profiles and sent extortion messages to others.
- 300 block of North Fieldstone Court, reported at 12:30 p.m. The complainant reported that an unknown person(s) applied for a loan in their name.
Nov. 22
ACCIDENT & DUI ARREST — 900 block of Vansant Drive at Wegmans, reported at 7:38 p.m. Police responded to the report of a two-vehicle accident at the location. Further investigation led to the arrest of the 69-year-old township woman for Driving Under the Influence. She was taken into police custody.
