Stony Hill Road Bridge Work Begins
A contractor will start work Friday on the Lower Makefield bridge over Interstate 295. Find out how long the work will last below.

LOWER MAKEFIELD TOWNSHIP, PA —Interstate 295 bridge work will begin Friday and last through the week of July 8, township officials said.
On Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., township officials said the contractor will pour latex-modified concrete on the Stony Hill Road bridge over Interstate 295.
After the concrete settles, the contractor will continue with prep work for the installation of the barrier for the pedestrian path from Prickett Preserve into Edgewood Village during the week of July 8.

Township officials said drivers and residents should be alert for lane closures and follow the direction of the flaggers for everyone's safety.
Meanwhile, Pennsylvania American Water Company is installing a new water line on Oxford Valley Road between Edgewood Road and Roelofs Road.
