Students in each class came up with a team name and mascot based on the name of their homeroom teacher. They will wear their custom team T-shirts during the game.
The teams are:
● The Kean Kongs (Roger Kean, teacher)
● The Mean Machines (Jason Miller, teacher)
● The Rodriguez Raptors (Kelly Rodriguez, teacher)
● The Toledano Tornadoes (Arlene Toledano, teacher)
Students in grades K-4 are also supporting this cause. Classes have been making signs in order to cheer on all of the 5th-grade teams.
They have also donated canned goods that are placed in the decorated collection box of their favorite team. These items will be donated to the Bucks County Emergency Homeless Shelter in Levittown.
