TS Isaias: Lower Makefield Residents Urged To Stay Indoors
Severe danger of road flooding, down trees, and some minor structural damage is possible, emergency officials warned.
LOWER MAKEFIELD, PA—The National Weather Service is predicting a storm event lasting until early Tuesday evening, emergency officials warned.
According to Police Chief Kenneth D. Coluzzi, heavy down pours and flash flooding are expected, which could include four to six inches of rain with winds between 35-40 miles per hour. Gusts of up to 60 miles per hour at times are also expected.
Severe danger of road flooding, down trees, and some minor structural damage is possible. The Delaware River is expected to rise one to three feet, Coluzzi said Tuesday.

All residents are asked to used caution and remain indoors, emergency officials warned. Do not drive through flooded roadways and refrain from driving on heavily tree lined roads. Residents are also asked to secure loose items from around their home.
The Lower Makefield Emergency Operations Center (EOC) will be in effect from 9 a.m. Tuesday until 5 p.m.
