LOWER MAKEFIELD TOWNSHIP, PA — The Dublin Barracks of the Pennsylvania State Police has issued a traffic advisory for congestion on Saturday during a Wreaths Across America event.

The event occurs at the Washington Crossing National Cemetery at 830 Highland Rd.

The cemetery expects to place 19,000 wreaths at the gravesites of U.S. veterans during the event, bringing many visitors and volunteers to the site who assist with the ceremony and services.

State Police advise traffic in and around Washington National Cemetery will be congested between 6 a.m. and 1 p.m. Saturday.

Troopers will be posted throughout the area to assist with traffic control due to the volume of participants and visitors coming to the event which will also cause traffic congestion on roads throughout Upper and Lower Makefield townships.
