2 New Eateries Confirmed For Wegmans Project Location
Prickett Preserve is planning a French restaurant and a donut shop, Lower Makefield Township officials said. Wegmans will open March 20.

LOWER MAKEFIELD TOWNSHIP, PA —As Prickett Preserve gets ready for the opening of Bucks County's second Wegmans, it is adding some more retailers around the supermarket.
Plans are calling for the opening of a Duck Donuts and LaGrange, a French restaurant, at Prickett Preserve, the mixed-use development currently under construction across the street from Shady Brook Farm off Stony Hill Road.
Township Manager David Kratzer said that Lower Makefield has not received anything in terms of permits for either tenant as of yet. He said LaGrange is noted on the sign for the commercial portion of the development.

During a "sneak peek" media tour of its 88,000-square-foot supermarket on Stony Hill Road, Wegmans officials announced that its new location will open at 9 a.m. on March 20.
Duck Donuts and LaGrange will join several retailers already planned or open at the complex.
PJ's Pancakes had promoted on its website that it would be opening its first Pennsylvania location, but they do not have an executed lease agreement and will not be a tenant, said Marc Bank, from David M. Bank Real Estate in Blue Bell, the leasing representative for the retail portion of Prickett Preserve.
Bank said that Duck Donuts signed a lease last month for a 1,025-square-foot space next door to Firebirds Wood Fired Grill.
Duck Donuts is also opening a location at the Shops at Valley Square in Warrington.
Duck Donuts is a chain based in Mechanicsburg. It was founded in 2006 in Duck, N.C., and has more than 100 locations in the United States.
The French restaurant will be a new startup from the owners of La Stalla, an Italian restaurant in Newtown, Bank said.
A call for comment was placed by Patch to La Stalla Friday afternoon.
Plans for Prickett Preserve were approved y DeLuca Homes in April 2021.
