Wegmans Ranked No. 1 As Best Retailer For Employees

The food market, which has locations throughout the Philadelphia region, received Great Place To Work and Fortune magazine top honors.

BUCKS COUNTY, PA — Wegmans Food Markets has now gotten top billing for a decade.

Fortune magazine and Great Place To Work have ranked Wegmans Food Markets, Inc. No. 1 on the 2025 Fortune Best Workplaces in Retail List.

The award is based on an analysis of survey responses from over 87,000 employees at Great Place To Work Certified companies in the retail industry.

This is the 10th consecutive year that Wegmans has ranked No. 1 on the list.

Wegmans has locations throughout the Philadelphia region, including Warrington and Lower Makefield Township in Bucks County, Montgomeryville, King of Prussia, and Collegeville.

Last year, Wegmans also ranked as a best workplace for parents, women, and millennials, and was named to the PEOPLE Companies That Care list.

Wegmans was selected based on its ability to offer positive outcomes for employees regardless of job role, race, gender, sexual orientation, work status, or other demographic identifier.
