Woman Charged After Bringing Gun Into Wegmans: PD
Lower Makefield Police were notified that two people were involved in a recent shooting in Bristol Township.
LOWER MAKEFIELD TOWNSHIP, PA — After receiving word about a vehicle wanted in a shooting in a nearby community, Lower Makefield Police found the suspects in Wegmans and found a gun on one of them.
Lower Makefield Police responded at 2:50 p.m. Thursday to the Wegmans in the 900 block of Vansant Drive after learning that a vehicle was wanted in relation to a recent shooting in Bristol Township.
Police tracked the vehicle to the area of Route 332 and Stony Hill Road, patrolled the Prickett Preserve shopping center, and located it empty in the Wegmans parking lot.

Police officers found a man and a woman in the store and recovered a firearm from the woman.
Both were taken into custody.

The man was turned over to Bristol Township Police for questioning.
The 18-year-old Bristol woman was charged with providing false identification to law enforcement and weapons offenses. She was arraigned by District Justice Marriott and sent to BCCF on $60,000 bail with 10 percent.
