YARDLEY, PA — Police in Yardley have arrested a man they say stole alcohol from a local store — after a tip from someone who saw the story on Patch.

Police say a 29-year-old man has been charged with retail theft in the incident, which happened shortly after 9 a.m. Friday at a business on Buttonwood Drive. They did not identify the business, but Fine Wine & Spirits is located at 7 Buttonwood Dr.

Police posted images of a man wanted in the case on Friday and say that an anonymous tipster, who saw the story on the Yardley Patch, helped identify him.
