Yardley ShopRite To Open Beer And Wine Department, In-Store Cafe

The grocery store's latest addition will open to the public at the grand opening next weekend, where shoppers can sample various drinks.

YARDLEY, PA — The ShopRite in Yardley has announced that they will be opening a beer and wine department and an in-store cafe on Saturday, March 19.

The popular grocery store will offer a variety of alcoholic beverages and coffee drinks to customers, making it even more of a one-stop shopping spot for Yardley residents.

During the upcoming grand opening, the store will offer beer and wine tastings and cheese pairings in the store's cheese department.

The newly remodeled section of the store will feature an assortment of carefully curated wines and beer. Nearly 200 different brews including domestic, imported, and craft beers will be offered to shoppers, along with top-selling organic and kosher wines, among other selections.

“We look forward to offering our customers a special collection of wines and beers that have been carefully selected by our knowledgeable staff and beverage manager,” said Joe Colalillo, president of the ShopRite of Hunterdon County and the owner and operator of the ShopRite of Yardley.

“It’s a place where people can find the perfect wine or beer to take home and maybe even enjoy a glass of wine or craft beer and meal in the new café.”

The grand opening ceremony will take place on Saturday, March 19 from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the ShopRite, located at 1603 Big Oak Road in Yardley.
