Many consider Rhode Island to have the best pizza in the world. But what’s the best of the best? According to Food Network, the best slice in Rhode Island can be found in Providence.

The Pizza Gourmet has the best pizza in Rhode Island, according to Food Network’s 50 Best Pizza Slices By State 2025.

Located at 357 Hope St., The Pizza Gourmet specializes "in Super Sexy food that's created with lots of passion and love," according to the restaurant's website.

"Our pizzas are WOOD GRILLED over oak and maple hardwood at temperatures of 1,800 degrees," the site said. "It's truly a unique product, topped with unique beautiful ingredients, making a pizza that will 'Convert You,'"

The Pizza Gourmet is especially proud of its take-and-bake pizzas.
