Providence College Women’s Hockey To Host Clarkson University In Weekend Series

The Friars are looking for their first win of the season.

PROVIDENCE, RI — The Providence College women’s hockey team is hosting Clarkson University for a weekend series at Schneider Arena.

The opening game of the series is 11 a.m. Friday and is followed by a 1 p.m. Saturday tilt.

The Friars are looking for their first win of the season. They are 0-4-0 and 0-2-0 in Hockey East play.

Clarkson owns a 2-2-0 record. Golden Knights goaltender Holly Gruber recorded her first shutout of the season against the University of Connecticut.
