Providence Women’s Hockey Opens Regular Season Against Quinnipiac

The Friars face Quinnipiac in a home-and-home.

PROVIDENCE, RI — The Providence College women’s hockey team will open its regular season with a home-and-home series against Quinnipiac University.

The Friars will host the Bobcats at Schneider Arena at 2 p.m. Friday before heading to Hamden, Connecticut, Saturday for a 3 p.m. matchup at M&T Bank Arena.

The Friars finished last season with a 20-12-3 overall record, including a 16-9-2 mark in Hockey East play. Providence fell in the Hockey East Quarterfinals in a 3-2 defeat to Northeastern University.
