Rhode Island Airfares 5th Cheapest In Nation: NetCredit
Rhode Island is also the fourth most affordable state for domestic flights when adjusted for wages, the online lender reported.
WARWICK, RI — Rhode Islanders flyers are enjoying the fifth cheapest airfares in the nation, according to NetCredit's 2025 U.S. Flight Cost Index.
"The analysis, based on Bureau of Transportation Statistics data, shows that flights from Rhode Island T.F. Green International dropped by $55.81 year-on-year — the 9th biggest decrease of any U.S. airport," the online lender said in a media release.
Rhode Island finished just ahead of Nevada and trailed Arizona, according to NetCredit's analysis.

Hawaii led the U.S. in cheapest airfares, the flight cost index showed, and Wyoming has the most expensive.
