RI Breweries Celebrating Craft Beer Week With Contests, Events

RHODE ISLAND — Rhode Island might be the only state where it's actually possible to visit every craft brewery in a single week, and the Rhode Island Brewer's Guild is challenging beer enthusiasts to do just that.

This week is Rhode Island Craft Beer Week. With more than 35 breweries participating, the guild designed the week to shine a bright spotlight on all the craft beers made throughout the Ocean State.

From March 5 through March 13, there will be loads of events, contests and deals for beer-lovers to enjoy while they hit their favorite local spots for a good pint. And one of those events is a contest to see who can visit the most breweries in the state.

With the help of a designated driver, participants can join the contest through the RI Brewery Passport App. Check-in on the app and post a picture of your beer at every brewery to potentially win prizes.

Prizes for the top five fans include tickets to the Newport Beer Festival, tickets to RI Brew Fest, a RI Brewers Guild puzzle and much more.
