The University of Rhode Island men's cross country team won the New England championship for the second time in three years.

Hopkinton, NH — The University of Rhode Island men's cross country team won the New England championship.
URI has won the New England championship twice in the last three years.
Nick Martin and Garrett Hartline finished in the top five and URI placed five in the first 22 across the finish line of the 8-kilometer course at the Hopkinton, New Hampshire, Fairgrounds.

The Rams are now off until the Atlantic 10 Championship in Cedarville, Ohio, on Saturday, Nov. 1.
