University of Rhode Island's Named Atlantic 10 Men's Soccer Rookie of the Week

KINGSTON, RI — Rhode Island freshman Kyler Vojvodic was named the Atlantic 10 Men's Soccer Rookie of the Week.

Vojvodic was involved in three of Rhode Island's four goals on the week, helping the Rams go 1-0-1, the university said in a media release.

"He scored twice in the 2-2 tie with Stony Brook, twice rallying the Rams from one-goal deficits," the release said. "Then he assisted on URI's lone goal in a 1-0 victory at St. Bonaventure, setting up Everson Goglia with the game-winner.

Vojvodic leads Rhode Island in four goals and nine points, according to the release.
