KINGSTON, RI — University of Rhode Island linebacker Moses Meus was named the Coastal Athletic Association Football Defensive Player of the Week, the conference announced Monday morning.

The redshirt sophomore from Pawtucket "spearheaded a defensive effort that held Holy Cross to just 229 yards of offense (157 passing, 72 rushing)," URI said in a media release.
