Barrington Bus Monitor Charged With Molesting Children: Cops

The Massachusetts man was indicted Wednesday, police said.

BARRINGTON, RI — A Barrington bus monitor was charged with molesting children, police said.

Kevin Langlois, 58, a resident of Rehoboth, Massachusetts, was indicted Wednesday on charges of second-degree child molestation, indecent solicitation of a child, simple assault, indecent exposure and disorderly conduct, the Barrington Police Department said in a media release.

The crimes "involved" two girls between the ages of 5 and 12, the release said.

Langlois was employed by Ocean State Transit as a bus monitor with Barrington School District, the release said.

Langlois was arraigned Thursday morning in Providence Superior Court. His bail was set at $10,000 with surety and a no-contact order was issued, according to the release.
