Body Of 3rd Dog Washes Ashore On Barrington Beach: Reports
At this point, there are more questions than answers — but the Rhode Island Society of Prevention and Cruelty to Animals is on the case.

BARRINGTON, RI — Investigators trying to find answers after three dogs' bodies washed ashore on Barrington Beach over the course of a month, according to multiple reports.
The Rhode Island Society of Prevention and Cruelty to Animals told WPRI is only became involved with the case after the third dog's body was discovered Monday.
"This is the first case that I've dealt with where several dogs have washed up on a beach," RISPCA Special Agent Earl Newman told WPRI.

At this point, there are more questions than answers. No one has been able to confirm the dogs' breeds, whether they had the same owner, or how they died.
However, experts told WJAR that it appears that the third dog was a larger breed and has been dead for some time.

"It will be examined by our veterinarians and likely will end up taking him to the University of Connecticut for a formal necropsy depending on what they find," Rhode Island SPCA President Wayne Kezirian said.
