Police Charge Warren Man Already Wanted on Two Other Warrants
Warren man allegedly gave police officers a false name to try to dodge arrest.

A Warren man already wanted on two arrest warrants got himself into a bit more trouble in Barrington last week.
Thomas R. Fontaine, 28, of 62 Main St., was stopped in his vehicle on County Road near the East Bay Bike Path around 10 pm on Thursday, Dec. 19, by a Barrington patrol officer. He allegedly gave the officer a false name when asked for some identification.
Fontaine now faces a third charge of obstructing a police officer in executing his duties.

Fontaine spent the night in a jail cell before being taken to court to face the new charge and the two previous charges: violating a no-contact order and disorderly conduct.
The first charge was filed by Warwick police with a warrant issued by Third District Court; the second charge was brought by Warren police with a warrant issued by Sixth District Court.

Bails of approximately $5,600 with surety has been set for his release on the initial charges.
