Police Search For Barrington Bank Robber
Bank robber makes off with an undisclosed amount of cash Thursday from Bank of America Branch on County Road. May have ties to other RI robberies.
The Barrington Police Department is attempting to identify and locate a suspect who committed a bank robbery Thursday, July 26th at approximately 3:35 PM at the Bank of America 257 County Road in Barrington.
According to Police Chief John LaCross, the suspect did not show a weapon and fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.
Investigators say the male suspect meets the physical description of an individual in at least 4 similar robberies in Rhode Island. He is described as a white male in his 30's, about 5'7" to 5'10" tall with a full beard wearing a blue knit cap and a brown long sleeve hooded sweat shirt.
