The Barrington Town Council is looking for volunteers to serve on five boards or commissions:
The Board of Canvassers has one vacancy with a very specific qualified elector needed. The volunteer must be a registered Republican or a registered Moderate to fill an unexpired term ending March 31, 2015. There is a small stipend.
The Energy Committee, previously known as the Committee for Renewable Energy Barrington (CREB), has a vacancy. The volunteer would fill an unexpired term that ends in November 2016.

The Housing Board of Trustees has two vacancies. One is for a volunteer to serve as a third alternate to fill an unexpired term ending in October 2014; one is for a second alternate to fill an unexpired term ending October 2015.
The Board of Assessment Review has a vacancy for an unexpired term ending March 31 next year.The Committee on Appropriations has a vacancy for an unexpired term ending May 31 next year.
